As I did not want the Tax ID on the form, and certainly not required, I traced the setting to the xrowcommerce.ini

I set tax_id[required]=false
and tax_id[enable]=false

Since then I have been unable to register any user as it always returns,

Country: Input require.

I have set xrowcommerce.ini back to the inital settings and still get the same message despite repeated clearing of the cache.

that's exactly the same issue I have with the registration, even with fresh install of ez4.3. and 4.4 install, without changing any settings: Country ("Land") required !

When replacing in the xrow client class country > text there is the 3 letter code recorded

On the other hand the direct buying and registration function is OK..

It's a real pitty. This very promising extension ships with poor documentation and lots of small bugs that I could manage. But without registration everything will be useless.

I am wondering whether it can be possible to make it run just by "repairing" more bugs - or am I loosing my time looking for a ghost ?

Is there really anybody who had ever made with this extension a successfull registration ?

many thanks for making changes in SVN 874/875 yesterday. When registering new user
the account can now be established without the error message "country required" So for the first time, there could be tested the next steps of the procedure.

The first result is, that the country input is not recorded and/or not shown in edit mode, neither in front-useredit (my profile, change billing information...) nor in admin-backend mode, the country-selector-box allways shows: Not specified

Now a user may specify again in edit mode. Finally these changes will be recorded.

For me it seems to be still a datatype mismatching problem which of course will follow up the whole path of the procedure up to all interdependent fine stuff (i.e. tax)
