Thank you for sharing this extension with the community.
I am attempting to use nivoslider v0.2 with ezflow on Community Project 2011.10 installation with OE 5.4.0-beta1. Debian squeeze. php5 Non virtual host set up using .htaccess settings recommended by ez documentation. Default language is eng.
After realising that the package had only installed the two nivo classes in Italian, I changed them to English, basing them on the Italian set-up.
I can see a nivoslider image when it is posted say in a folder and it is called from [base directory]/var/ezflow_site/storage/images/....
When I put nivoslider images as child items of a nivoslider, it says the slider is not configured to contain items.
When I embed the slider in an xml block, as you would do for a file, the nivoslider caption and skin are visible, and I can see it is trying to rotate images which are not there. The source reveals it is looking for nivoslider images in [base directory]/index.php/var/ezflow_site/storage/images/....
Is this a javascript or rewrite problem and do you have any suggestions on how to correct?

Hello John, so you been not able to insert nivoslider image like child? it can be fault of nivoslider class, if you check when u go to modify the class you will see there is an option called IS CONTAINER, or somenthing like that, can you tell me if this checkbox is checked?

Thank you for reply. I do have nivo slider set as a container and can make nivo slider images child items of a slider. I have sent you an example link to your msn.com account.
without /index.php/ before var, you can see the nivoslider image.

I share the solution....
well his problem was the setting SiteURL on Site.ini...
his siteurl value was somenthing like that : site.com/index.php
this is a problem if you are using the rewriterule which ez publish need for work fine, the correct site.it must be just site.com
