Salut andre

It's difficult for the end-user to login with facebook and ask them to create an account on the website.
It will be better (for me) to have the register form include in connect.tpl. (of course user attributes must be set with the data from facebook;-) )

Yes I know, haven't worked on this since september.
Basically waiting for facebook to add email to their API, something they did a couple of days ago*.
So when I have time I'll add support for something like this. (Mentioned somewhere else, it should be possible to get facebook to request extra info on connect authentication/verification page on behalf of the connect site so number of steps can be greatly reduced. Not sure how to set that up, so if anyone knows, please share. ).

Andre, is this what you need:

http://wiki.developers.facebook.c...sions#Requiring_Extended_Permissions

...the part with:

$fb->require_login($required_permissions = 'email,read_stream')

Pr. defintion, yes. Simon did not maintain it when I started to use it, and I don't use it anymore so it's up for grabs for anyone that wants to contribute.

If you need a Facebook and/or Twitter sign in feature, you can use Netgen connect http://projects.ez.no/ngconnect
