Hi,

I believe i heard from Paul B that Solr could run using a simple java vm, which suggests to me using the java-php bridge employed by the lucene extension. But isnt the Solr offering servlet with its web api?

Of the various servlet solutions which do you find the best in your experience?

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul

I'm currently using Apache Tomcat, but I believe Paul B has done some testing with Jetty.
Haven't used a simple Java vm to do this so far. But getting rid of the PHP to Java Bridge was actually my major point to use Solr instead.
