Has anyone tried to add batch tagging or adding attributes during upload?

What I think of is a block with various fields (text, ez tags, dropdowns) right on the multiupload page.
First you enter your metadata, then you select the files. During upload, while the objects are created, all meta data is added to the objects (given the upload content classes have such meta data attributes)
