eZforOb connects to an Openbravo ERP[1] instance and downloads the product
catalogs from it. All the catalogs are downloaded into an invisible
folder, so that the administrator of the e-shop can ubicate these
products where she likes, building her custom catalogs.
eZ core has been modified so multiple ubication is possible, and not
adding either removing products is allowed, but hiding them. All the
product management is done by the Openbravo ERP[1].
eZforOb connects to an Openbravo ERP[1] instance and uploads the tickets,
generated by the sold items. Then, it downloads the state of the
already uploaded, so the state can be tracked from the e-shop. Like
products, the management of the tiquets is done by the Openbravo
ERP[1].
All these synchronization is done by using the Openbravo web
services[2], so that, as long as the their definition does not
change, it can be used with different versions of Openbravo, and both
systems can be located in different boxes, as long as they can be
interconnected.
The synchronization itself and the configuration of that is implemented
as an extension to eZ and can be located from the ERP tab (admin
interface).
