Not a lot of new features this time around: the bundled pake library has been upgraded to rev. 1.6.3 (it is also a strict requirement now)
For now, the svn server of projects.ez.no will be used for delivering the packaged version of the installer itself.
Otoh all code development will happen starting immediate on on github.
A great new feature is (re)introduced in this release: allow building ezpackages out of extensions.
. changed task execution order: now all 'check' tasks are run before any 'file changing' tasks
. allow more flexibility in naming the .sql files
. check for minimum pake version when not using bundled version
. when upgrading, upgrade also the bundled pake version
. find extension name, if not specified on cli, even when pake/options-ezextensionbuilder.yaml is present besides options-extension.yaml
. on windows allow to find doxygen if not specified as cli option
. the .tar.gz files built on windows would not open fine on mac/unix (cuz' of backslash in pathnames)
. fix a fatal error in tool-upgrade-check task
The tool has been rewritten from scratch, and it is both more flexible and more powerful than the original version.
It is now based on Pake (a "make" lookalike written in php), and has no more need for ANT or Java.
It can boostrap quite easily, just:
It is quite well documented, and should not be too hard to use.
